General Description

The Aragon property consists of four tracts of undeveloped land totaling 119+/- acres located on the east/northeast side of Tucumcari, NM in Quay County as well as a lot within the city limits in the Wilkerson subdivision.

Three of the tracts are contiguous and the fourth tract is located approximately one-fourth mile north. ​This property has potential for farming, grazing, or subdivision.

One tract consisting of 23+/- acres has a concrete lined irrigation ditch and is irrigable from the Arch Hurley Conservancy District although it has not been irrigated recently due to drought and water not being allocated from Conchas Dam.  However, prior to the drought, it was farmed for several years and the owner ran cattle on it.  City water, sewer, and natural gas run adjacent to this tract.  Estimated tax is $22.80.

Adjacent to the irrigated tract is a four acre tract with a 1,942 sq. ft. house. The house was built in 2007 and consists of three bedroom, two bath and a fireplace built out of lava rock.  It is an all electric house except for a natural gas heating system.  The home has city water, sewer, and natural gas.  There is also a 480 sq. ft. garage and a 21 ft by 21 ft carport on this tract.  Included on the four acre tract is an old set of corrals and a roping arena.  Estimated tax is $639.92.

Contiguous to the four acre tract is a forty acre tract which consists of approximately 8+/- acres located on the west side of US 54 and the balance located east of US 54. Estimated tax is $14.52.

Approximately one fourth mile north of the forty acre tract is a 51+/- acre tract located south of the railroad and west of US 54.  This tract consists of native grassland and the mesquite has been grubbed and stacked.  A shallow well is also located on this tract.  Estimated tax is $5.00.

The lot in the Wilkerson subdivision is 100 ft by 142 ft in size.  There is electricity, city water, sewer, and natural gas on the property and includes hook up for a mobile home.  The lot includes a 30 ft by 14 ft metal storage shed with an attached 12 ft by 9 ft storage shed.  Estimated tax is $99.20.
